Clarity / Purity / Clarity

Purity is an important property of a diamond and therefore determines its rarity and therefore also its price. According to experts, the clarity has the least impact on the appearance of the diamond. Clarity simply refers to the minimal, natural imperfections found in virtually all but the purest diamonds. Diamonds with the fewest and smallest imperfections receive the highest degree of clarity.

The most important thing is that the diamond is "eye-clean". In rare cases this can be as early as SI1. Then the diamond looks just as good to the naked eye as diamonds of the highest clarity. We are specialized in finding these eye clean diamonds in the clarity you want from SI1.

To guarantee our quality, we only work with diamonds that are 100 percent "eye-clean".

Clarity / Purity explained

FL, IF

Flawless, internally flawless

No internal or external imperfections. Internally flawless: No internal imperfections. Extremely rare.

VVS1, VVS2

Very, Very Slightly Included

Absolutely imperceptible imperfections at 10x magnification. An excellent quality diamond.

VS1, VS2

Imperfections are not visible to the naked eye and difficult to see with a magnifying glass. Less expensive than the VVS1 or VVS2.

SI1, SI2

Slightly Included

Imperfections may be visible to the naked eye. In rare cases, these are "Eye clean" and the imperfections are only visible with a 10x magnifying loupe

I1, I2, I3

Included

I1: This quality diamond has small inclusions that are visible to the naked eye.
I2, I3: Fewest quality diamonds. Look blotchy and the inclusions affect the life and fire of the diamond.

Which purity suits me

The differences between our diamonds with an SI1 and IF clarity are so minimal that they cannot be seen with the naked eye. The diamonds we select usually have the inclusions scattered in the diamond and on the side making them invisible. At first sight no difference, but a big difference in price.

1. Do you find size and color more important?

Choose an apparently clear diamond, a diamond that has no imperfections that are visible to the naked eye. An excellent value-quality ratio because diamonds with a clarity of SI or VS are much less expensive than Flawless or Internally Flawless diamonds which are exceptionally rare and therefore considerably more expensive.

2. Is the idea of perfection more important to you?

Then choose one of the purest diamonds. The extreme rarity ensures that the diamond is highly sought after, which of course comes with a price.
